Do I need a reservation?
Walk-ins are welcome any time we're open. Reservations are only needed for groups of 8+ or for private buyouts - for either, email events@ or use the form

Is kava safe? Is it legal?
Kava is legal in all 50 US states and has been consumed safely for over 3,000 years in the South Pacific. As with any beverage, moderation matters - our hosts will guide you through your first shell.

Can I bring kids?
Guests under 18 are welcome with a guardian until 8 pm. We have a full menu of kid-friendly elixirs, smoothies, and steamed milks that are 100% kava-free.

I'm in recovery. Is this safe for me?
Yes. The Kava Bar is fully alcohol-free, by design. Many of our regulars are in active recovery and our staff is trained to be a supportive presence. We host free meeting space - just ask.

Do you serve food?
Light bites only - house-made bliss balls, dark chocolate, and a rotating local pastry partner per location. You're welcome to bring outside food.

How does Kava Rewards work?
Earn 1 point per dollar spent, redeemable for free shells. After every 10 visits, your next drink is on the house. Birthdays are free.

Do you ship kava or merch?
Not yet - but it's on our roadmap for 2026. In the meantime, swing by any location for our merch wall (mugs, tees, totes, kava starter kits).

Can I work or study from your lounges?
Absolutely. Free wifi, plenty of outlets, and a no-laptop-shaming policy. We just ask that you keep calls quiet and order something every couple of hours so the seat keeps paying its rent.
